The Dallas Morning News Review of Books:
'Mr.
Younkin, A Dallas Theological Seminary grad is 'Minister Marty the Marrying Man.'
His
craft-your-own ceremony guide will be instantly
understandable. Readers can choose from six whole
ceremonies, traditional to family inclusive. Modify these
from his selections of prayers, readings, vows, and special
touches such as the unity candle. Worksheets help pull it all
together into a dignified occasion without the expense and
million-option headaches of industrial-strength wedding
planning.'
The
Burlington Hawkeye
The
book offers six wedding ceremonies and a dozen
readings, wedding vows, ring exchange vows, prayers and blessings,
traditions and ceremony formations. There's a wedding ceremony
order of service and a rehearsal worksheet. And finally
there's a personalized wedding ceremony worksheet.
It's
like a ceremony buffet. Brides and grooms can choose a
blessing from this ceremony, a ring exchange vow from that and a
reading from somewhere else. Younkin,
who has been a minister for 30 years, has also created second-time
ceremonies and ceremonies that include children. Splitting
up the ceremony pieces allow the soon-to-wed couple to create a
service that expresses them.

Daily News Review of Books
Once
you've gone through your checklist for your upcoming nuptials - the
gown, the chapel, the reception hall, the photographer, flowers,
music - words shouldn't be an afterthought. A
little tongue-tied in that department? No problem. The
Rev. Marty Younkin's 'A Wedding Ceremony to Remember' has
plenty of suggestions to spare.
The
book divides ceremonies into traditional, contemporary, civil, short
and sweet, second-time around and 'All in the
Family.' You can mix or match any of the elements from
any ceremony and design a completely unique ceremony. Use
the book to choose individualized words for the special day.
Then, with every detail attended to, the couple can relax and enjoy
the moments when they say 'I do.'

Review:
'Marty
Younkin's wedding ceremony book on the many ways you can design your
own wedding ceremony is very complete. I have not seen any
other book on the market that gives the bride and groom a chance to
create their own wedding ceremony just the way they want.'
